- পুরোনো map ও নতুন map আলাদা করে দেখুন।
- Added, removed, replaced, expanded, relocated - এই change ধরুন।
- Overview-তে সবচেয়ে বড় transformation বলুন।
- Body paragraph location অনুযায়ী group করুন।

Before-after map mini example
Situation: ২০০০ সালে একটি village-এ farmland ও small houses ছিল। ২০২৫ সালে সেখানে road, apartments, supermarket, এবং car park হয়েছে।
In the western part of the village, most of the farmland was replaced by apartment blocks, while a supermarket was constructed near the main road.
Map-এ park-এর জায়গায় hospital হয়েছে। কীভাবে লিখবেন?
The park was replaced by a hospital. যদি location দরকার হয়: The park in the south-west corner was replaced by a hospital.
Map দুই ধরনের হতে পারে
Map task-এ সাধারণত দুই ধরনের question আসে: একটি map-এর current layout describe করতে হতে পারে, অথবা two maps compare করে change দেখাতে হতে পারে। বেশি common হলো before-after change map.
Map overview কীভাবে লিখবেন
Overview-এ exact location-এর সব detail দরকার নেই। বড় change বলুন: এলাকা বেশি residential হয়েছে? green space কমেছে? road/building যোগ হয়েছে? facilities modern হয়েছে?

Mini full map report
The maps show how a small town centre changed between 2000 and 2020.
Overall, the town became more commercial and less green. Several new facilities were added, while the park and open field were reduced in size.
In 2000, a large park occupied the western side of the town, and an open field was located in the south. The main road ran through the centre, with a few shops on its eastern side.
By 2020, the eastern shops had been expanded into a larger shopping area. A car park was built in the south, replacing the open field, and new apartments were constructed near the northern road.

Writing-এ অনেক student grammar ঠিক করতে গিয়ে main task ভুলে যায়। Examiner প্রথমে দেখেন আপনি প্রশ্নের কাজ করেছেন কি না, idea logically সাজিয়েছেন কি না, এবং language naturally control করতে পেরেছেন কি না। তাই প্রতিটি answer লিখার আগে ৩ মিনিট plan করুন। এই ৩ মিনিটই অনেক সময় ৩০ মিনিটের ভুল বাঁচায়।
একটি ছোট গল্প
আরিফ complex sentence লিখতে পারত, কিন্তু Task 2-তে question-এর দুই অংশ cover করত না। আমরা তাকে fancy word কমিয়ে “question checklist” দিলাম। প্রথম line-এ position, body paragraph-এ clear reason, শেষে direct conclusion—এই simple discipline-ই তার writing stable করল।
